Consisting of hardwood bricks arranged in patterns across the floor, parquet comes in a range of designs, including herringbone, chevron and basket weave.

Parquet flooring tiles generally come in a range of woods – there’s oak, merbau, walnut and more. Further to that, wooden parquet flooring also gives you the choice of solid and engineered wood.

Solid wood is made up of one species and engineered comprises solid wood on the wear layer and plywood underneath. Each has its advantages. However, if you’ve got underfloor heating, engineered is the better choice.

So, finish your floor with wooden parquet – it’s a a durable and enduring classic flooring finish that’ll never go out of style.

Parquet wood flooring is suitable for use throughout your home except for wet rooms and high moisture areas. However, it can be laid over underfloor heating.Domestic and commercial options are available.

The day I entered the shop I got a warm, friendly welcome and felt this is the kind of place where I want to spend my money. The service has been immaculate from start to finish. Staff are very friendly and helpful and accommodated everything to suit our needs…. We had to have the shutter measurements adjusted due to an error from my part, as after the team measured everything I had some works done. However the shutter blinds were already ordered! We started looking at the blind options for our large windows and came across top down and bottom up pleated blinds, which seemed to meet our needs. We started look at various blind companies and came across Abbott's who are the agents for Luxaflex Blinds. They soon came, measured and reassured us that the blinds we had identified would work well on our large windows.
