Product information
Rooflight rollers are a long-lasting window covering for features such as skylight windows, roof lanterns and orangeries.
Rooflight rollers use zip technology to secure the fabric in place, which reduces sagging. We use one of two possible systems for this depending on the size of the window…
CTS: Constant Tension System
Ideal for shading smaller glazed areas, a CTS uses a single motor system. This means it has one motor that’s located inside the cloth tube. It also has spring boxes at the other end that pull the fabric under tension. They are often used with zip side channels that allow the blind to run freely and quietly whilst preventing the fabric from being pulled free. CTS blinds are available with both mains and battery motors.
FTS: Fabric Tension System
An FTS is a double-motor system with a special motor at both ends of the blind. The motors “talk” to each other through a control box as the blind is travelling to control the moving and finishing tension. Depending on the draw and width required, FTS blind can be up to 6.5m wide and up to 20m long
Both options are available with screen fabrics for shading, which reduce the amount of heat, glare and UV light that enters the room. You also have a range of room darkening fabrics to choose from.
So choose rooflight rollers for increased noise reduction, energy saving, and the neat and stylish finish they provide.
